Forced Air Heaters
Calienté FCH Series Forced Convection Heaters are an excellent option when an entire enclosure and its contents need to be cost-effectively heated. The designs are compact and easily mounted with standard-sized 35mm DIN clips.
With either standard resistance or self-regulating PTC technology, there is built-in protection from overheating. PTC stands for positive temperature coefficient, which means as the temperature of the heater rises, the resistance rises, limiting the current and output wattage at higher temperatures. This allows the heater to self-regulate without external control, providing a valuable safety feature to your design.
Higher wattage and DC versions of these fan forced heaters can be configured with standard resistance elements where there is an inrush current concern. They are also excellent for anti-condensation applications, and are a much safer alternative to standard strip heaters. Calienté offers a variety of UL and CSA recognized sizes up to 1000 watts AC and 600 watts DC to heat larger areas.
