The chart below is used to determine the total wattage requirements for both insulated and non-insulated enclosures assuming the enclosures are based on surface area (not volume). If the enclosure is not sealed, is vented, or in a place in windy conditions, we recommend adding up to 50-100% to the wattage requirement listed.
