Caliente Expands Manufacturing Capabilities with New Silicone Pad Heater Product Line

Silicone Pad Heaters – High-Temperature Custom Heaters

Caliente LLC is expanding its heating technology portfolio with the launch of a new silicone pad heater product line.

The investment represents an important expansion of Caliente’s manufacturing capabilities and allows the company to serve applications requiring higher operating temperatures, higher watt densities, and increased durability in demanding environments.

A New Class of Heating Solutions

Caliente has traditionally manufactured PTC pad heaters using screen-printed conductive inks on polyester film, with the heaters rated to temperatures up to 105°C.

While this technology provides an excellent solution for many applications, some customers require heating elements capable of operating at significantly higher temperatures and in more demanding environments.

That’s where silicone pad heaters come in.

Caliente’s new silicone pad heaters are rated for temperatures up to 200°C and can accommodate higher watt densities than our traditional polyester-film heaters. The silicone construction also provides excellent flexibility and durability, making the heaters well suited for applications where conventional heating technologies may be limited.

Designed for Demanding Applications

The new silicone heater capabilities allow Caliente to target a broader range of industries and applications, including:

To bring this new capability to customers, Caliente invested in brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and began production earlier this year.

The investment reflects Caliente’s ongoing commitment to expanding its engineering and manufacturing capabilities while providing customers with additional options for solving difficult thermal-management challenges.
